- Supports and guides day-to-day Client Services (CS) operations for developing and executing complex marketing programs – either independently or with junior team support – while working with team leader(s) and strategic partners to support client business.
- Provides independent thinking to clients to suggest new, unexplored solutions to client challenges as outlined by senior Client Services team, or related to tactical programs managed personally.

This role, in the WUNDERMAN DC Insights & Innovation department, is part account planner and part tactical strategist – providing both actionable insights and insightful action. As an Senior Digital Strategist, you will work with Client Services, Creative, and Marketing Intelligence to provide the insights needed to understand the customer experience as it exists and how it could or should be transformed. You will also have strategic and tactical planning skills to take those insights and transform them into not only big ideas that get the Creative juices flowing, but also actionable plans that can ensure execution.
Senior Digital Strategists take an active part in the entire client marketing process; understanding customers and creating segmentation, identifying issues, understanding market landscape, planning and conducting insights and strategic research, forming hypotheses, creating recommendations, and helping to ensure work is insights based and results driven from start to finish. Senior Digital Strategis are expected to be “digital first” in their thinking – but also able to engage with print, broadcast, and any other medium that should be part of the customer experience.
