    Our rapidly growing Toronto office is seeking an ambitious, results-driven Sr. CRM Strategist. At Wunderman, the Sr. CRM Strategist guides all direct to consumer communications strategies, most notably email marketing and website marketing. Working hand in hand with a data & analytics partner, the Sr. CRM Strategist inherently seeks to establish an objective approach, relying on a battery of consumer behavioural data and client business performance data to illuminate the best course of action to pursue. He/she likely has a CRM strategy background but is fully fluent in current enabling technologies including, most importantly, the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).   He/she is adept at translating client and agency team briefs into specific solutions leveraging the full suite of capabilities present within SFMC.  Whether it’s setting up and helping deploy a myriad of simple email campaigns, designing more sophisticated A/B and multivariate tests, or creating trigger-based communication journeys based on business rules he/she is already very comfortable and capable working within SFMC. 

     

    Operating under both a ‘think’ and ‘do’ attitude, this individual is able to establish the big picture, and deliver and present strategies in smart, compelling presentation decks (e.g. PowerPoint, Keynote). This position will report into the SVP, Director Strategy and work side-by-side with a community of other strategists and analysts both locally and within the agency, servicing a great client list including, primarily, IKEA Canada.

    Responsibilities

     

    • As a strategic lead within the broader IKEA agency team, you will be responsible for the delivery of a multitude of email and website experience solutions for this fast-paced, retail account.
    • You are a master at conceiving communications ideas and very good at selling them to the agency team and clients with a focus on email and website.
    • You are equally adept at translating approved strategies into SFMC, using Journey Builder and the various tools within the Cloud. 
    • You are proficient in building out complex triggered campaigns using business rules within SFMC, including test campaigns, to multiple audience segments and business scenarios.

    Qualifications

     

    • 8-12 years of strategy experience working in an agency/marketing environment including a minimum of 5 years immersed in marketing automation, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
    • Undergraduate degree in marketing or advertising preferred
    • Comfortable working in highly flexible environments; able to regularly switch gears from brand-to-brand and partner with other team members/departments to meet deadlines, particularly a data & analytics partner.
    • Excellent and persuasive communication skills; able to clearly articulate and sell your strategies in relatable and convincing ways
    • Proficient in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint; able to author, design and deliver effective presentations
    • Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI preferred.
