  • Overview

    Supports Marketing Intelligence on assigned accounts and leverages data and research to develop, track and measure marketing solutions for clients.

    Responsibilities

    Duties & Essential Responsibilities

    • Provides periodic statistical reporting of campaign results for all clients as dictated by individual project needs
    • Uses existing or custom-designed reports to draw conclusions and develop actionable insights
    • Coordinates and implements analysis and reporting projects
    • Coordinates and directs activities of outside vendors and partners (such as database partners, service bureaus, list vendors, etc.) to ensure data integrity for outbound marketing efforts as well as analysis and reporting
    • Coordinates and directs activities of fulfillment partner, ensuring accurate and timely campaign execution, defining campaign and business rules and overseeing their execution
    • Provides reporting to Marketing Operations, allowing for monitoring of inventory levels of fulfillment materials
    • Collaborates with Marketing Operations to plan data logistics, ensuring efficient project execution while providing a continuous feedback loop and maintaining data integrity
    • Supports collaboration of all team disciplines to accurately gather and use information for project analyses
    • Develops testing plans to evaluate current campaigns
    • Provides marketing profiles of target segments based on demographic, psychographic, geographic and lifestyle characteristics accessed through internal database review and external research
    • Assists in the evaluation of information resources
    • Assists in the preparation of cost estimates and project budgets for client and non-client related projects as assigned
    • Additional duties may be assigned

     

    Staff Development/Team Building                                                               

    • Works with Marketing Intelligence team to manage resources across all disciplines on respective teams, including the interpretation of data results across the agency with strategic partners
    • Fosters and promotes a team working environment
    • Works on own performance evaluation by reviewing performance, identifying gaps and participating in training and development as needed
    • Attends and/or participates in department overview meetings, mentor program and in-house workshops when necessary

     

    Agency Growth

    • Actively participates in agency-wide training programs
    • Adheres to agency-defined workflow procedures as directed by Marketing Services and/or executive leaders
    • Exemplifies fiscal responsibility by adhering to agency and client expense management and staffing policies and procedures
    • Represents Marketing Intelligence disciplines in all new business activities, including capabilities, presentations, pitch proposals, and development of case studies
    • Upholds agency-wide policies, procedures and processes across the MI department

    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

    • Bachelor’s degree plus one year or more of experience in analytical/planning functions within the direct marketing field
    • Proficiency with statistical analysis tools such as SPSS and SAS
    • Proficiency competencies in Microsoft Office, database and Internet environments
    • Ability to prioritize time well and juggle multiple projects effectively
    • Ability to communicate coherently and sensitively with clients, vendors and staff members
    • Excellent writing, verbal, presentation and consensus-building skills
    • Intuitive and analytical approach to problem solving
    • Ability to organize people, projects and information
    • Ability to offer proactive solutions and ensure successful progression without guidance
    • Communicates across departments in a team and matrix environment
    • Ability to exhibit client service approach with results-driven performance
