    Wunderman, with a growing portfolio of top-tier clients, specializes in designing consumer-centric strategies focused on combining creative with data to build valuable relationships between consumers and brands. 


    The Senior Art Director is a problem-solver and conceptual thinker with a strong creative background.


    Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


    • Partner with copywriters and other creative team members to generate breakthrough concepts that meet and exceed the requirements of the creative brief.
    • Promote concepts using the latest techniques and technologies to build and expand Wunderman’s reputation as a leader in digital solutions.
    • Establish and develop solutions in accordance with brand equities, project concepts, copy, and technical requirements and specifications.
    • Serve as a technical and creative resource for the team.
    • Be self-motivated with a positive attitude and have strong communications skills
    • Stay current on visual design techniques and software tools.
    • Stay current on advertising and marketing design trends
    • Identify, engage and manage vendors and specialists, such as artists and photographers, as needed.
    • Be attuned to and knowledgeable of societal and cultural trends


    Specific knowledge and skills include but are not limited to the following:


    • Strong portfolio showing a range of styles and relevant experience
    • Work effectively in a team environment
    • Highly creative, conceptual thinker
    • 6-10 years professional advertising, interactive or multimedia experience
    • Excellent design and typography skills
    • Proficiency in major design and page layout software programs (PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator)
    • Strong working knowledge of HTML, Flash, CSS and other common technologies
    • Experience developing rich media and other forms of online advertising
    • Ability to direct junior designers and production artists
    • Strong understanding of information design and usability principles, ability to interpret IA documents
    • Strong verbal communication skills
    • Ability to juggle assignments and work maintain highly organized, detail-oriented work while working within deadlines
    • Ability to learn new technologies and embrace evolving "best practices."
    • Broad-based knowledge of internet design best practices.
    • Have an interest in social and cultural trends and stay up to speed on emerging digital technologies
