    Wunderman, with a growing portfolio of top-tier clients, specializes in designing consumer-centric strategies focused on combining creative with data to build valuable relationships between consumers and brands. 

     

    We are seeking a dynamic Senior Strategist to oversee, nurture and continue to build our strategic capabilities. You are not defined by one thing – you are multidisciplinary with an understanding of brand, social, digital, and experience strategy. If you're not an expert at all of them, you have a willingness to learn. You will work across functional teams in the discovery, elevation and delivery of all insights, thought leadership, social/digital strategy and CRM engagement against business and brand goals.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to motivate, create and implement short and long-term fully integrated marketing strategies
    • Identify business and marketing problems, industry drivers and competitive dynamics and inform the team and clients of relevant implications/opportunities for their business
    • Will work with Jr. Strategist to elevate learnings into insights when researching our clients' business, target audience, and experience
    • Develop framework and conceptual approaches needed to provide guidance for meeting client marketing objectives
    • Write concise and inspiring creative briefs that inspire the creative team in new and novel ways
    • Codify work done for clients into generalized frameworks and methodologies that can drive more effective and efficient strategy work across all clients and serve as a point of differentiation for Wunderman
    • Assist Associate Strategy Director in preparing for and moderating "Collision Days" - client workshops and brainstorms
    • Proactively identify new opportunities for client growth, enforce processes, provide quality assurance and implement best practices across all engagements 

    Qualifications

    • 3-5+ years of brand strategy experience within an agency setting
    • Must be comfortable working on projects that start with a lack of structure and well-defined goals and are able to bring clarity to assignment objectives, tasks and deliverables to meet and exceed client expectations
    • Strong understanding of brands with proven experience in delivering digital strategy globally
    • Exceptional analytical and conceptual skills
    • Outstanding client interaction skills, especially with senior client members, and comfortable presenting and defending strategic recommendations to clients
    • Exceptional verbal, written communication and negotiation skills
    • In addition to excellent desktop research skills, must have a willingness to learn and apply Wunderman's data tools and resources
    • Knowledge of Keynote a plus - willingness to learn a must
