  • Overview

    The SAS Campaign Developer will assist the client team with solution activities addressing customer challenges within the travel and hospitality space. This person possesses an excellent foundation in marketing campaign management, and a strong knowledge of SAS Marketing Automation as well as SAS Customer Intelligence 360. The SAS Developer will proactively work with the customer to develop marketing campaign management solutions.

    Responsibilities

    • Participates in discovery meetings to collect, analyze, clarify and document business requirements.
    • Participates in project requirements gathering.
    • Builds and develops multi-channel marketing campaigns using SAS Marketing Automation and Customer Intelligence 360.
    • Converts existing SAS code into high quality SAS code that is efficient, automated, maintainable, and follows industry best practices.
    • Works proactively with the client and internal team members to develop colleague skill sets to have a better understanding of SAS coding, information maps, stored processes, web reports, and SAS administration.

    Qualifications

    • Understands, utilizes and communicates best practice methodologies internally and externally.
    • Demonstrated marketing campaign process credibility.
    • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to understand and translate complex technical and business information to internal/external audiences.
    • 5 years of SAS experience developing and configuring SAS solutions.
    • Strong experience with SAS Marketing Automation and Customer Intelligence 360.
    • Must be knowledgeable of best practices using SAS.
    • Experience with performance tuning SAS servers, troubleshooting, and automation of SAS jobs and code.
    • Experience or interest in travel and hospitality marketing.
    • Ability and desire to learn new technologies and tools.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Superior attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Experience in monitoring/auditing database campaigns.
    • Strong SQL experience.
    • Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, with frequent interruptions distractions.
