  • Overview

    Wunderman Data Products is recruiting a Business Development Manager responsible for market development across the digital products. The successful candidate will prospect and work with the General Manager to develop direct sales.

    Responsibilities

    The following list of essential functions is representative of the tasks to be performed in this position. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Accomplished individual sales contributor able to prospect and sell with high degree of competence into the mid-market.
    • Identify prospects within agreed target verticals, engage with them and drive to successful close.
    • Attain or exceed revenue goals.
    • Provide weekly guidance and forecast against operating and sales plans.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs.
    • Act as the senior relationship manager for strategic partner relationships.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar fields that include digital advertising, marketing/advertising technology, programmatic media and/or direct response advertising.
    • High degree of verbal, written and presentation skills to communicate persuasively across the different constituencies and maintain active dialogue.
    • Experience working in a start-up environment highly desired.
    • Strong ability to bring creative solutions to challenging business problems.
    • Proven results driven individual contributor and willingness to take measured risks.
    • Proven results growing a business as part of team demonstrated by increased revenue and profit margin.
    • Organizationally savvy and able to navigate a multi-tiered company network and varied personalities.
    • Comfort in working aside, and negotiating with, executive management at large corporations.
    • Flexibility and patience to deal with ambiguity and changing priorities.
    • Ability to prioritize effectively against multiple concurrent high priority tasks.
