    We are looking for a digitally-oriented, technology-minded, inspired leader to evolve and grow our offering in Seattle using the scale of the Wunderman network and the mentality of a startup.   With a focus both internally and externally facing, this leader will drive the agency’s positioning as a premier partner for our clients offering powerful solutions across the full spectrum of data, technology, creative, and marketing services.     The MD, Seattle will also lead one of Wunderman’s key clients, T-Mobile – overseeing a combined Wunderman and Essence Digital team (Media), thus we are seeking a skilled client relationship leader and team manager who understands the telco industry. In addition, he/she will oversee Wunderman’s Seattle office (approx. 90 people) with accountability for the day to day profitability and running of the business.   The MD, Seattle will join the executive leadership team of Wunderman North America, reporting to Seth Solomons, CEO.


    • Set the strategy, vision and direction for the Seattle office aligned with regional and global priorities
    • Lead key client relationship – T-MobileStrengthen and expand relationships with current key client partners, driving existing revenues.
    • Fiscal responsibility for overall office
    • Lead and grow new business efforts
    • Establish and maintain a positive office environment based on a culture of mutual respect, transparency, accountability and creativity
    • Attract, hire and retain top talent and high performing teams.


    • 15 to 20 years of experience within a digital agency/consultancy/marketing environment, media experience a plus
    • Experience leading an office and/or significant P&L
    • Demonstrated track record of leading successful digital marketing programs with working knowledge of how and when to deploy strategy, technology, analytics, creative, performance marketing, media, paid & earned media, CRM, business intelligence, production, etc.
    • Strong client relationships in the mar-tech industry specifically in the Seattle market
    • Dynamic leadership, strategic thinking, collaboration, and team-building skills
    • Track record building, nurturing and growing large client business
    • Outstanding and persuasive client-facing and relationship management skills
    • Expert knowledge of all agency functional areas; including data, creative and technology
    • Proven track record of collaboration with other agencies within a holding company environment
    • Superior verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills
    • Extensive partnering skills with demonstrated legacy of building and growing accounts
    • Problem solver at the core
    • BA/BS degree required; MBA preferred
