  • Overview

    Responsible for developing the analytics of client marketing programs and to support the marketing planning process through reporting and analysis of client data. Generate program insights to promote a continuous learning and improvement cycle.


    • Provide analytics on client relationship marketing and integrated marketing programs to help determine whether business objectives have been met including metrics to gauge program effectiveness and profitability.

    • Use customers’ raw data and analytical tools such as SQL, Excel and PowerPoint to help them better understand their customer base

    • Make data-based recommendations to improve customers’ bottom line

    • Develop and build a variety of reports for the client, primarily using Excel, but also with other software packages as directed

    • Manage and resolve the key data issues involving quality, consistency of data for analytical purposes

    • Support other analytical needs in an ad-hoc environment as well as standard reporting

    • Identifying and accessing all the data available, whether client or 3rd party, to gain the best knowledge to make decisions, often in real-time

    • Prepare written analysis and findings

    • May include other duties as assigned


    • Quantitative background: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Statistics, Business Administration or related field preferred – Master’s degree a plus

    • Three to four years of experience interpreting data and providing relevant reporting formats

    • Microsoft Excel expertise, able to perform higher level operations using macros, pivot tables, formulas, etc.

    • Experience with database querying software (SQL) and knowledge of visualization techniques for data analysis and presentation is desirable, as is experience with supportive tools (Tableau, Domo, etc.).

    • Strong analytical skills essential, understanding of statistics and modeling a plus.

    • Must have good written and verbal communications skills.

    • Must be a strong self-starter.

    • Must be able to balance multiple projects and meet quick deadlines in a fast paced environment.
