  • Overview

    The Senior Project Manager provides project and program management across specified accounts.Creates and manages schedules and budgets, then guides the execution of the work associated with them through the agency.


    Acts as the general contractor for the client engagement
    • Assures projects are completed according to schedule and within budget
    • Directs project scoping
    • Directs project estimating for both time and budget
    • Manages project resourcing
    • Manages project quality control
    • Acts as project archivist by managing the proper storage of relevant project artifacts generated by multiple agency departments
    • Manages project adherence to requirements and specifications
    • Assure project adherence to deadlines/milestones
    • Assures project adherence to scope
    • Assures proper project documentation is generated and disseminated
    • Communicates risk management, internally and externally
    • Enacts change management
    • Acts as a champion of agency process
    • Assures internal communications are disseminated to all appropriate team members
    • Orchestrates team decision making and logs decisions via conference reports
    • Communicates project status through written reporting and by hosting status meetings
    • Acts as the arbiter between competing/conflicting team members or departments
    • Acts as primary agency liaison with third-party vendors
    • Schedules and hosts meetings relating to the advancement of their projects
    • Contributes to client- and vendor-facing status reports
    • Interacts with client in matters relating to project planning,execution and review of deliverables
    • Plans and manages internal and external project communications,ensuring effective exchange of project information and deliverables across the agency


    • Bachelor’s degree plus two or more years of project management experience
    • Experience with managing technology/Web projects within an agency environment
    • MUST have experience managing DIGITAL/INTERACTIVE projects
    • Ability to meet high standards for quality and accuracy under tight deadlines
    • Passion to learn the inner workings of the business and be part of a team
    • Ability to scope projects accurately, prioritize time well and juggle multiple projects with autonomy
    • Ability to communicate coherently and sensitively with clients, vendors and staff members
    • Excellent consensus-building skill
    • Intuitive and analytical approach to problem solving
    • Ability to organize people, projects and information
    • Ability to offer proactive solutions and ensure successful progression without guidance
    • Ability to exhibit client service approach with results-driven performance
