  • Overview

    The Assistant Account Executive provides day-to-day support to the account management team and our clients. Responsibilities include day to day project management, with adherence to established Agency process.


    • Main point person for internal management of all active jobs

    • Develop a strong rapport with our clients through a detailed understanding of all facets within a job providing clear and concise communication regarding job status to clients as needed

    • Participate in internal brainstorm sessions, creative briefs, internal creative reviews and all QA/QC processes.

    • Assemble and be responsible for weekly completion and distribution of accurate and comprehensive status reports to clients as well as production schedules when needed

    • Act as resource for current information about the status of all projects in progress and aim to keep Account Supervisor/Director informed of same

    • Attend meetings relevant to current projects and provide written call reports pertaining to what was discussed and next steps in a timely manner. Circulate call reports to appropriate internal team members and clients.

    • Responsible for monitoring competitive activity and selecting noteworthy news or advertising and circulating it to clients and within the agency

    • Working closely with production, assist in the preparation of detailed production estimates and timelines for client review and approval

    • Work with Finance to track and resolve any issues with client billings and payments. Manage relationship with client coordinator on all financials.

    • Handle administrative tasks as requested including but not limited to maintenance of folders on the shared drive, maintenance of files including production estimates and conference reports so they are current and correct, as well as timelines, calendars, and schedules for their assignments

    • Assist with routing when needed


    • BA in Advertising, Marketing or related field

    • 1-2 year’s experience working at an advertising agency with experience in digital and print

    • Strong project management skills with great attention to detail

    • Creative thinker

    • Excellent communications skills: both writing and verbal

    • Shows initiative, energy and drive to succeed
