    Wunderman St. Louis, a 2018 Top Workplaces winner, is looking for a Desktop Administrator to serve as End User Services for a variety of locations, departments and operating systems.  They are ultimately responsible for ensuring that support needs are resolved in a timely manner.  They focus on equipping our employees with the tools to be successful, and providing outstanding service to our customers (both internal/external).

    Responsibilities

    • Primary support for end-users
    • Trouble shooting, and documentation skills.
    • Root cause analysis (trouble shooting)
    • Build laptops
    • Reset passwords
    • Unlock AD accounts
    • Disable / create AD accounts – document as required
    • Trouble shoot IP phones
    • Configure / setup Cisco phones – document as required
    • Configure and troubleshoot cell phones – document as required
    • Configure Email accounts for new users and trouble shoot as needed  
    • Setup / add / trouble shoot printers
    • Install miscellaneous software
    • Primary support for Microsoft Office
    • Troubleshoot PC/software/re-installs
    • On-call rotation
    • Must be available to work weekends, nights, and holidays
    • Lite travel throughout year.
    • Clearly communicate status of efforts to resolve problems and take ownership
    • Work effectively with cross-functional teams and must be flexible enough to deal with different technical skill sets and dynamic work environment and schedules
    • Perform other duties as assigned
    • Evaluate and install patches and resolve software related problems
    • Maintain appropriate levels of security
    • Root cause analysis - trouble shooting and problem resolution
    • Self-sufficient with analytical skills requiring minimal supervision

    Qualifications

    • Degree preferred, but IT degree is not required.
    • Understand Windows OS
    • Use of Apple products, Mac OS software is a plus.
    • Understand MS Office Suite
    • Understanding of the fundamentals of network and server/desktop administration, installations, upgrades, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment
    • Customer service skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to learn on the fly.
    • Strong organizational skills.  Meticulous attention to detail.
    • Ability to accept constructive internal comments.
    • Should be comfortable in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented office.
    • Proven success working with various team interactions and stepping in as needed  to cover  peak workloads.
    • Efficiency and the ability to follow processes and direction
    • Attention span and focus are critical for some repetition

    • The capability to creatively approach problems not covered by existing procedures.
