  • Overview

    Leads the development and implementation of direct marketing campaigns (both online and offline). Responsible for managing the Account Management client team and growth of assigned business. Ensures that all projects are executed on time and within budget while adhering to proven marketing principles and strategy. Responsible for growth and development of assigned account management staff to expand their understanding of marketing principles, business management and agency process.


    • Participates with lead agency in development of annual CRM marketing plan for assigned client business, defining scope and resources needed to fulfill recommendation while exploring incremental activities to grow client and agency business
    • Lead the internal agency team(s) on assigned projects
    • Management of marketing campaigns, executions and budgets
    • Aid in the development of new opportunities for growth and prepare management presentations for revie
    • Maintain strong partnership with client counterparts and lead agency counterparts acting as their trusted advisor
    • Ensures that the resources of the Account Management group are deployed with continued maximum effectiveness in the best interest of the clients.
    • Closely monitors team hours for maximum effectiveness
    • Keeps well informed on all client activities, enabling anticipation of issues/concerns (internal or external) or client dissatisfaction and takes steps to remedy any such situation
    • Guides, advises, assists, and stimulates the Account Management staff in developing and presenting new project briefs and in activating the projects accepted by Clients.
    • Talent management duties include hiring, job descriptions, giving performance feedback, conducting performance reviews, developing goals, training/mentoring and making staffing and promotion recommendations
    • Leads the development of annual "Year-in-Review" analysis of past year marketing activities
    • Partners closely with the Analytics team in delivering business cases and campaign reporting with insight and excellence.
    • May participate in and contributes to the new business activities of the agency
    • May include other duties as assigned


    • BA in advertising, marketing or related field
    • 8+ years marketing/advertising experience including some in an agency environment
    • Ability to think strategically about the assigned client’s business
    • Direct mail/email experience
    • Strong leadership skills both internally and client facing
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment managing the expectation of many stakeholders

    • Ability to develop/mentor junior talent
