    Position:  Account Supervisor, Events for Microsoft (B2B) Seattle

    Reports directly to:  Management Supervisor (Chicago)

     

    SUMMARY:

     

    The Account Supervisor: Events for the Microsoft USCMO business works with the client and agency team to determine goals/objectives for key events targeting business & technical decision makers in IT, Marketing and Finance. A high level of professionalism and integrity is required as the AS will have daily and direct interaction with the client, based in Bellevue, WA.

     

    Main responsibilities include: day to day support of all event logistics, ownership/management of key components of the event, project management of internal and vendor groups involved in event development and management of budgets, timelines & processes from creation through recap of the event.  In addition, the AS will work with the GAD in Chicago and the extended MS Possible Account teams, as well as represent the Event discipline within Wunderman Seattle.

    Responsibilities

    • Build trust with client and internal & external agency teams
    • Attend and facilitate status meetings, client and vendor meetings and calls
    • Create and ensure client conference reports are clear, detailed and timely
    • Develop client numbers/job estimates, manage project budget and processes (working through/with the resources in both the Chicago and Seattle offices)
    • Create/manage internal/external actionable production schedules without supervision
    • Manage third party/vendor/partner relationships on client’s behalf
    • Support, and where needed, lead the day-to-day execution of multiple events programs; including:
      • Participate in weekly program execution status calls w/client/agency to provide updates
      • Support agency team in working with MS/clients to obtain necessary approvals, discuss issues that arise
      • Provide strategic insight, brand guidelines and direction to agency resources as they develop program creative materials
      • Ensure design and messaging are in support of Microsoft deliverables
      • Take lead and manage key areas and tasks associated with the event under your management
      • Build on existing event programs, bring new ideas
      • Facilitate and oversee execution of event marketing plan to ensure flawless execution
      • Help handle all day-to-day communication and coordination for program; ensure all contractual obligations are met
      • Ensure program wrap-up/results are provided after event completion
    • Support GAD in working with MS Possible teams as well as Wunderman Seattle

    Qualifications

     

    • Minimum 6 years’ experience in Events with focus on B2B
    • Experience working with Microsoft (preferred)
    • Managerial experience (preferred)
    • Ability to own and manage multiple projects at one time
    • Ability to work with internal and external agency teams (creative, production, studio, etc.) and multiple offices
    • Knowledge of project management, Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, applications
    • Effective verbal and written skills
