    Position:  Account Executive, Events

    Department:  Account Management

    Client Account:  United States Navy

    Reports directly to:  Account Supervisor



    As an account executive, you’ll work closely with the account supervisor (and broader Memphis-based team) to develop new and engaging recruitment activation programs that will be executed nationwide. You will work with partners across multiple disciplines as well, reinforcing the Navy’s key recruitment messages. 





    • Accountability for the day-to-day workflow and execution
    • Facilitate and oversee on-site execution of event marketing plan, as it relates to particular events, to ensure flawless execution (travel is required, including weekends)
    • Build trust with client and internal team through day-to-day contact
    • In conjunction with the AS, creative team and production team, manage any elements that pertain to the experiential units and conventions.
    • Ensure deadlines for build out are being met
    • Work with partner agencies to ensure the Navy’s needs and objectives are being met, especially as it pertains to activation
    • Develop training materials, as needed for activation programs
    • Stay atop key industry trends, bringing new activation ideas to the table on a regular basis
    • Responsible for other duties and projects as assigned (such as competitive research / analysis, etc.)




    • BA/BS degree required; Marketing, Business, or Communications degree
    • 1+ years relevant agency experience
    • Effective verbal and written skills
    • Excellent relationship building skills – can work collaboratively across all internal departments & with partner agencies
    • Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills
    • Able to adapt to rapidly changing expectations with a professional, calm and resilient demeanor
    • Resourceful - Problem solver mentality.
    • Future ready with knowledge of current and/or emergent marketing technologies
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
