  • Overview

    As an Account Executive, you will have account management responsibilities for existing and new clients. Through consultative selling you will create comprehensive, compelling and effective proposals which successfully pair Wunderman Data Product's leading core & digital solutions with your client’s unique needs.  Your primary clients will include direct marketers utilizing both online & offline marketing solutions.  This role reports to a vertical leader and works closely with our operations and technology teams.


    • Meet or exceed all sales goals by ensuring clients purchase products and services that meet their needs.
    • Understand the client’s product line and marketing objectives as they related to testing and utilization of the co-op database.
    • Analyzing mailing results against objectives and help clients integrate and translate new knowledge into future tests and roll-outs.
    • Proactively identify and effectively cross-sell and upsell KBM products and services.
    • Identify client revenue growth opportunities, client revenue declines and establish the necessary steps with account reviews to move the account forward or to reverse decline.
    • Take a proactive stance and communicate early with accounts that are at risk.
    • Maintain an accurate 90 day sales forecast in CRM at all times.
    • Identify and develop opportunities for strategic sales efforts with mid to large multi-channel companies.
    • Stay current in trends and developments in direct marketing and related industries.
    • Work collaboratively with other, think and act proactively, and work independently
    • Must have a positive attitude, be assertive, and aspire to be the best
    • Contribute to an energized and collaborative environment
    • Self-directed and management directed travel as needed to achieve your goals (up to 30%)



    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 5+ years’ experience in account management in the direct marketing industry
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
    • Ability to take direction, manage tasks, and make good decisions with minimal supervision
    • Have excellent communication, presentation and listening skills
    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
    • Be flexible and resourceful
