  • Overview

    Wunderman Data Products is recruiting a Business Development Director responsible for channel and market development across the data and digital products team. The successful candidate will work with General Manager and team leads to formulate and partner to execute go-to-market strategies. The Director will be responsible for working with marketing to develop effective go-to-market programs to directly support indirect sales channels and work to promote adoption in new and existing channels. This includes but is not limited to maintaining active competitive position, market adoption strategies, price and attainment of channel revenue goals.

    • Accomplished business development strategist able to combine planning and execution with high degree of competence in evaluating and developing recommendations based on sales performance data.
    • Collaborate with channel partners, internal stakeholders and partners in the wider Wunderman Group to create awareness of product offerings and services across the product line.
    • Attain or exceed revenue goals for partner channels.
    • Coordinate promotional calendar for partner channels
    • Provide weekly guidance and forecast against operating and sales plans.
    • Develop and implement go-to-market plans for each product.
    • Provide industry thought leadership by speaking at relevant events and conferences.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs.
    • Act as the senior relationship manager for strategic partner relationships.
    • Management duties including commission calculation, invoice approval and royalty tracking.


    • Minimum 7 years’ experience in similar and related marketing fields that include digital advertising, marketing/advertising technology, programmatic media and/or direct response advertising.
    • High degree of verbal, written and presentation skills to communicate persuasively across the different constituencies and maintain active dialogue.
    • Proven track record of creating and developing quantifiable business impact through channel development and creating organizational leverage.
    • Experience working in a start-up environment highly desired.
    • Strong ability to bring creative solutions to challenging business problems.
    • Proven results driven leadership and willingness to take measured risks.
    • Proven results growing a business as part of team demonstrated by increased revenue and profit margin.
    • Organizationally savvy and able to navigate a multi-tiered company network and varied personalities.
    • Comfort in working aside, and negotiating with, executive management at large corporations.
    • Demonstrated sensitivity in dealing with people from other cultures and backgrounds.
    • Flexibility and patience to deal with ambiguity and changing priorities.
    • Ability to prioritize effectively against multiple concurrent high priority tasks.
