  • Overview

    The Human Resources Coordinator is a hands-on representative of the Human Resources department whose job is to help facilitate all core Human Resources functions. With diverse yet substantive job responsibilities, the Human Resources Coordinator works with both current employees and new hires, making this an integral position within our organization.


    Part-time, 20-30 hours per week – benefits eligible, Mon – Fri, approximately 10:00am to 2:00pm but hours are flexible.


    The following list of essential functions is representative of the tasks to be performed in this position. The omission of an essential function does not preclude management from assigning duties not listed, if such functions are a logical assignment to the position.

    • Coordinate interviews and travel for remote candidates.
    • Assist with background check/drug screen processing.
    • Submit joiner/leaver/change notices & set up work spaces.
    • Assist with employee on-boarding process including: send out new hire links/packets to employees, conduct new hire/benefits orientation and collect required paperwork.
    • Complete and verify I9 immigration documentation, submit through E-Verify and ensure accuracy.
    • Responsible for HR Data Integrity and ongoing process to maintain and audit HR Data on multiple sites (ADP Enterprise HR, Maconomy, WWOP (stock option), Y&R Employee Directory, etc.)
    • Follow up with employees to be sure everyone is completing mandatory WPP ethics & safer data training within first two weeks of employment.
    • Maintain Human Resource (HR) files for all employees in accordance with compliance laws, policies and audit preparation.
    • Maintain/update the WDP Employee Handbook.
    • Process employee changes, terminations and employee referral rewards through payroll.
    • Quickly and accurately address general employee inquiries. Respond to information requests regarding payroll, benefits and company policies.
    • Coordinates leave of absence with employee and payroll.
    • With input from VP-HR, create & update organizational charts and headcount reporting on an ongoing basis.
    • Create & run reports using ADP Enterprise HR, Maconomy & Excel
    • Respond to employment verifications, and provide employees with employment verification letters.
    • Assist with various HR programs, procedures and strategic planning activities.
    • Assist with company-wide initiatives such as You Time, Quarterly New Employee Social Gatherings with Senior Executives, Social Committee and other company events, training, etc.
    • Provide administrative support to VP-HR.
    • Cross-train with other Wunderman HQ/Y&R HR assistants to ensure we are leveraging best practices and optimizing efficiencies by leveraging their systems.



    • 3+ years of Human Resources administrative experience in an environment that involves dealing with all levels of an organization.
    • College degree and/or work experience with demonstrated proficiency in online research, creating/editing word documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
    • Able to quickly learn various software applications required to support all HR department needs (ADP Enterprise HR, iCIMS & Maconomy).
    • Displays a professional manner, and a “can do/will do" attitude in all interactions with HR team, senior management and all employees.
