  • Overview

    Responsible for concepting, writing, and executing innovative materials for various projects. Creative output should consistently satisfy clients’ and Agency’s objectives and expectations. May present work at various internal presentations. You will also be the Art Direction lead among our Austin intern cohort who will spend part of the Summer preparing a group intern project under the guidance of a professional mentor from the organization. This project will be presented by the interns at the end of the program to agency leadership.

    Responsibilities

    • Create concepts and written ideas for Agency clients that are responsive to marketing/creative objectives and strategies
    • Actively works with art directors in the creation of visual solutions incorporating concepts/ideas and the concepts/ideas of the team
    • Create and documents final copy standards and verbiage
    • Participate in brainstorm/ideation sessions
    • Responsible for securing approval for all work from their ACD or CD for specific assignment
    • May contribute to the new business and/or pro bono activities of the Agency
    • May include other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Pursuing Bachelor in Communications/Advertising, English, Journalism or equivalent program
    • Ability to demonstrate conceptual and written skills
    • Developing ability to present ideas effectively
    • Ability to talk about/sell your work internally
    • Ability to listen and understand client feedback and feedback from internal critiques
    • A command of language, grammar and the written word
    • Ability to create and execute your ideas in an efficient, organized way
    • Is developing his/her leadership and team building skills
    • Energy, initiative and drive to succeed
    • Must have portfolio of school work demonstrating conceptual/copywriting ability
