Partners with a copywriter to concept a core idea for any given assignment and/or campaign.  Translates ideas into a finished design across a variety of mediums.


  • Develop the visual design, layout and feel of the advertising to be executed
  • Responsible for the timely development and execution of campaigns and projects
  • Offers sound strategic thinking and is capable of delivering work that is on strategy and on brief
  • Produce the final assets necessary including preparing and directing files for mock-ups and presentation boards
  • Create and documents final design parameters, style guides and visual standards
  • Responsible for securing approval for all work from their ACD or CD for specific assignment
  • May include other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Advertising or equivalent
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of advertising art direction experience required, with superior design skills and a thorough understanding of design, typography and graphic layout
  • Proficiency in Adobe CS
  • Demonstrated conceptual skills
  • Ability to create and execute your ideas in an efficient, organized way
  • Ability to work across all mediums
  • Ability to present and defend ideas effectively both internally and with clients
  • Ability to listen and understand client feedback and feedback from internal critiques
  • Emerging leadership skills
  • Have demonstrated a passion for new technologies and emerging trends
  • Must be highly responsible, collaborative and self-motivated
  • Capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must have a portfolio
