Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Wunderman team responsible for driving social media efforts for one of the world’s largest global airlines.  In this account management role, you will work on the strategic planning, campaign execution and daily content development for all things social – domestically and internationally. You will gain insider exposure and first-hand knowledge of the inner workings of a global airline.

 

The Senior Account Executive, Social will be part of a cross-functional team of discipline experts creating and executing impactful social media strategies and campaigns that engage both new consumers and the brand’s loyal followers. This collaborative approach guarantees social integration into the larger integrated marketing plan. You will be responsible for helping grow the brand, establishing relationships and seeding content through social channels.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social, digital and PR best practices and be on the forefront of ever-evolving industry trends. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, organized and eager to learn!

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Associate Account Director, Social to develop, implement and maintain comprehensive social media strategies that increase brand visibility and traffic across all social platforms, including content development, community engagement and influencer management
  • Responsible for weekly social status sheet and weekly newsletter covering social trends and competitive analysis
  • Responsible for all post builds for paid social across platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube
  • Support our clients with day-to-day marketing on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube, Tumblr and other platforms where we have a presence
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of social/digital marketing experience, preferably from a social or integrated agency; retail, hospitality or travel related experience is a plus
  • Experience with a fast-paced environment handling multiple work streams for large clients
  • Strong client-facing and relationship management skills
  • Well organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously required
  • A deep understanding and comfort using all social media networks and content management platforms
  • BA/BS degree in marketing, communications or related field
