Responsibilities

The Planning intern provides day-to-day support services to the planning team, and assists with the development of relationship marketing (RM) programs based on rich insights. Planners are audience experts and are responsible for uncovering the human truths that inspire creative and storytelling

  • Sample work streams: qualitative research, brand planning, messaging

Qualifications

  • Thrives on “in-the-moment” challenges
  • Comfortable conducting person-to-person interviews inside/outside the office
  • Finds insights through research
  • Capable of finding interesting angles for consumer storytelling
  • Has an uncompromising focus on making great work with great results
  • Is quick witted, curious, fun and efficient
  • Related experience or education in the field of marketing communications, psychology or strategy
  • BA/BS degree; Graduate degree students also encouraged to apply
  • Understanding of general marketing principles and practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, time and self-management skills
  • Strong sense of initiative and ability to work under pressure on multiple projects
  • Flexibility, professionalism and positivity
  • Knowledge of account planning, interactive marketing, direct marketing and/or CRM a plus
