Our Content Marketing Strategists must keep a strong and current pulse on the latest digital trends and tactics, and be able to create short-term and long-term content plans that meet the client’s goals and stands out in the industry. To do this effectively, we need content strategists with a strong knowledge of marketing trends, media publishers, social media, and SEO.

 

This position is best for an experienced communicator with extensive knowledge of digital mediums that can guide internal and external teams on the changing digital landscape in order to define the most effective content strategy. 

Responsibilities

  • Act as the authority on content strategy for our clients and internal teams by staying on top of trends, industry updates, and best practices for social and content
  • Work closely with brand strategists, media buyers and the client to create new strategies and opportunities that drive results
  • Use knowledge of how paid, owned, and earned media work together, and know how to create cohesive interactions amongst the spaces
  • Leverages analytics and research tools to create informed strategies based on customer insights
  • Develops and presents content strategies, plans and message maps for various channels, industries, and audiences

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years or more experience in marketing strategy or related field
  • History of producing effective digital content marketing strategies
  • Strategic thinker that can offer creative solutions and ideas
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and directly with a client
  • Knowledge of the interaction of paid, owned and earned media
  • Strong presentation, communication and consensus-building skills
  • Ability to translate and communicate data into actionable items
  • Marketing experience in one or more industry categories: e.g., pharmaceuticals, health care, retail/services, high-tech, financial services.
  • Advanced competencies in Microsoft Office and Internet environments
