Overview

The Account Manager supports the Account Supervisor and the Account Director to facilitate the reporting, communication, planning and administrative demands of specific projects within their specific segment or portfolio assignment.

 

This role will will be a shared Account Management role (50% xbox and 50% GSK accounts.)

 

Given that this role will have significant contact with our clients, vendors and internal delivery team, professionalism is a fundamental requirement.  On smaller projects, the Account Manager may have the opportunity to lead client projects (with support from senior leadership).

The Account Manager must be able to bring creativity and a proactive approach to problem solving to all responsibilities and be ready to tackle a wide variety of challenges, and support the organization in ways that are frequently changing.  Your primary responsibility will be to support the Account Supervisor(s) / Account Director(s) on larger projects, but on any given day, this could be a wide variety of tasks.

 

Here is an example of what you would be responsible for, but it isn't limited to just this!

 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates, executes and delivers all projects within the given timeframe and budget, acting as primary day-to-day agency contact for junior marketing clients.
  • Coordinates and synthesizes account reporting, including project status and invoicing information.
  • Facilitates communication tracking by taking meeting notes, preparing and distributing contact reports, and following up on actions items.
  • Assists in preparing client presentations.
  • Opens all jobs and controls the distribution of job numbers (job codes etc.) as required.
  • Initiates production estimates and timelines and acts as control for all.
  • Assists in writing creative briefs, with the support of the Account Supervisor or Account Director.
  • Manages external contractors/vendors (production, talent, etc.) including organizing their deliverables, communicating timelines, and escalating project issues to the account leadership teams.
  • Collaborates with agency partners (media, strategy, creative, studio, PR, etc.) to execute and manage ongoing projects.
  • Provides estimated resourcing allocations of internal teams throughout the life of projects.
  • Provides general office support such as organizing client meetings, travel & accommodations, catering etc. when needed.
  • Tracks & manages client feedback and revisions through to delivery of final files.
  • Coordinates digital development and delivery process—which includes performing digital testing (QA), project management, client management, consolidating feedback from account team and client and communicating details to project leads and digital development staff department.
  • Assists in trafficking ads with media partners.
  • Assists with delivery of social content, transcriptions/subtitles and posting as needed.
  • Works with internal teams and client stakeholders to schedule and produce campaign reporting documents.
  • Works with the Program Manager and Program Director to schedule meetings, reviews, briefs and other support duties as required.
  • Obtains necessary legal clearances on all content and facilitates French translation/adaptation process.
  • Provides production with appropriate briefings and schedule information.
  • Closes all complete and/or canceled jobs and ensures appropriate billing.
  • Reviews and helps prepare status reports as necessary.
  • Reviews and helps prepare internal financial reporting as necessary.
  • Stays up-to-date on clients’ business, working to understand the evolving competitive landcape and industry trends.

Qualifications

  • 2 - 3 years’ experience, preferably in a creative agency
  • Gaming, Pharma, Automotive experience and passion is considered an asset
  • Experience working on a fully integrated account (multiple channels)
  • Experience working in an integrated agency setting / managing multiple stakeholders (client and agency)
  • Capable of successfully running small to medium sized projects with limited day-to-day supervision
  • Is a creative problem solver who aims for operational excellence at every turn and demonstrates the early skill set of a trusted business integrator
  • Maintains an ‘always learning’ attitude. Stays ahead of the industry thinking on emerging digital trends.
