The Analytics Director is responsible for the management of analytics for premier Wunderman clients in across multiple verticals. Management of these accounts may be done either through individual effort or through the management of other personnel and resources across the Wunderman network. The Analytics Director will have responsibilities will be split across business development, developing client’s analytics strategies, consulting with clients on analytics trends and industry best practices, collaborating with members of the Wunderman account team, and being an analytics expert and resource across the Wunderman network for insurance and banking.



The Analytics Director will perform and manage extensive and highly sophisticated analysis of client data using multivariate statistical techniques to build analytic solutions for predicting customer behavior and improving business profitability.

  • Manage client interactions
  • End-to-end project management; develop project plans (including scope definition, timelines, and deliverables), monitor progress, provide client status updates, qc analytic deliveries, deliver final results to client.
    • Manage expectations of both internal and external personnel
    • Consult with clients and internal account teams on analytical issues, such as predictive modeling, segmentation, experimental design, LTV, and program evaluation
    • Clearly articulate project goals and objectives to technical and non-technical audiences
    • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
  • Serve as project lead on multiple engagements
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple, complex client projects and relationships.
  • Assist with business development for analytical and integrated solutions projects, including RFP response and sales presentations
  • Demonstrated ability to balance thought leadership with taking direction from senior management.
  • Maintain an understanding of the NA market and best practices in customer acquisition, customer retention, cross selling, and usage of digital and social data.
    • Use knowledge of industry best practices to provide client recommendations and develop/improve customer business practices


Successful candidates will have strong mathematical or statistical backgrounds, experience in the healthcare, retail or CPG industries helpful, proven project management skills, and thrive in a team environment of open idea exchange

  • Eight or more years of analytics experience
  • Experience in developing or supporting customer acquisition, customer retention, cross sell, and customer segmentation in the Insurance Industry.
  • Usage of Digital or Social data for customer profiling, segmentation, or Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Seven or more years of database marketing and analytics experience using data management and analytical methods
  • Predictive modelling. Ideally in the Insurance industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge of multivariate statistical and modelling techniques
  • Ability to take abstract business issues and derive and implement an analytic solution that will resolve the issues for the clients
  • Ability to relate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Demonstrated ability to recognize when the client’s needs and the needs of the business are not aligned and propose a remedy for alignment.
