Our rapidly growing Toronto office is currently seeking an exceptional Senior Digital Strategist to join our thriving strategy & planning team. This position will report into the SVP, Director Strategy and is located in our downtown Toronto office. The successful candidate will be part of a community of other strategists, planners and analysts in our Toronto and Vancouver offices. This role will mainly be the strategic lead servicing the GSK consumer health business, a portfolio of sixteen brands such as Buckley’s, TUMs, Voltaren, Sensodyne, Pronamel, and Abreva, but could extend to other brands within our client list, such as IKEA and BMW.
At Wunderman, the Senior Digital Strategist is the strategic lead to both internal teams and clients – able to intimately understand the client’s business and set the strategic vision and digital roadmap for their brand while galvanizing internal teams (account, creative, technology) through established strategic methodologies. They are excited about tackling new grounds, leading digital marketing strategic solutions, and are able to champion teams in assessing and solving complex creative and technology-based brand challenges. They constantly evolve and disrupt the strategic / concepting process to test new methods and frameworks to push ideation and innovation. They operate with both a ‘think’ and ‘do’ attitude – being able to establish the big picture, but equally able (and willing) to roll up their sleeves to bring their thinking to life. They are equally able to operate both conceptually and analytically to drive and inspire successful creative idea and technology solutions while leveraging data to uncover insights and establish in-market drivers of performance.
These skills will be applied to the development of strategic solutions rooted in digital marketing, across all forms of digital advertising, website, content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, and digital brand activations.
