Responsibilities

 This role, in the WUNDERMAN DC Insights & Innovation department, is part account planner and part tactical strategist  providing both actionable insights and insightful action. As a Freelance Digital Strategist, you will work with Client Services, Creative, and Marketing Intelligence to provide the insights needed to understand the customer experience as it exists and how it could or should be transformed. You will also have strategic and tactical planning skills to take those insights and transform them into not only big ideas that get the Creative juices flowing, but also actionable plans that can ensure execution.

 

Responsibilities include:

Understanding of Clients business and marketing goals

Understand and educate team about customer needs, goals, and journey

Craft messaging and positioning

Develop and present client integrated strategic recommendations & tactical plans

Develop content for client workshops creative ideation, customer experience mapping, tactical planning Competitive and Best Practice Analysis Marketplace and general digital trends

Help with new business pitches when needed Author POVs and white papers on various topics

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree, plus 2-5 years of related agency experience

Experience with marketing, branding, & advertising 

Specific understanding of direct and relationship marketing and all related disciplines

Excellent writing, verbal, presentation, communication and consensus-building skills•Intuitive and analytical approach to problem solving

Ability to organize people, projects, and information.

Ability to thrive in a team environment and motivate teams.
