Overview

Reporting to the VP, Creative Director the purpose of this position is to strategically develop and build creative concepts across multiple vehicles for Wunderman’s extensive roster of clients.

Responsibilities

 

  • Along with the assigned Sr. Copywriter, meets with the VP, Creative Director, to discuss and clarify the direction of creative development against the creative strategy;
  • Develop strategically relevant creative solutions based on the information gathered from all documents including the creative brief, team members, and VP, Creative Director;
  • Present concepts to the VP, Creative Director for approval of the creative concepts, to ensure all creative meets the client’s needs and Wunderman’s creative standards;
  • Executes layouts for digital, mail, print, and outdoor, as well as collateral and point of purchase material;
  • To maintain quality and budget controls throughout all aspects of a concept’s execution including file prep processes in conjunction with Production and Studio;
  • Presents layouts to the VP, Creative Director, account team, and client for discussion and approval;
  • Collaborate fully with the assigned Copywriter and all members of the Creative, Account and Production team;
  • Apprise the VP, Creative Director of progress as warranted;
  • Regularly attends briefs, product group meetings, production meetings, and presentations where appropriate;
  • Contributes to the selection of photographers and/or illustrators in the final execution and visualization of the creative concept; and
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

  • Degree or diploma in a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience as an Art Director or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
  • Experience working in an integrated agency with work spanning across diverse mediums (digital, OOH, broadcast, print)
  • Must have working knowledge of the Adobe Suite of products.
