The Account Supervisor provides internal support for the day-to-day administration of the Customer Engagement account management function.

Coordinates scheduling, and delivery of client projects, documents, change controls, statements of work, reports and other deliverables. This position helps coordinate and implement client marketing strategies as they relate to digital marketing, consumer marketing platform management, data analytics, and program execution.

As part of the Client Services team, this position reports to the Account Director or above.  Program work should be performed efficiently, and information should be clearly communicated so that the programs are completed to the client’s satisfaction, with regard to deadlines, accuracy, and quality.


  • Assists and supports Client Services staff with the internal management of all active projects including working with Internal Operations/Finance to open projects and communicate project numbers to all concerned.
  • Documents details related to project(s) which may include providing service to the clients’ existing customers, prospecting new customers, and coordinating day-to-day services.
  • Generates reports, documentation around projects, and fulfills internal and client ad hoc requests
  • Performs quality control checks on all documents and information delivered to the client as appropriate.
  • Experience in direct marketing and digital communications is a critical skill requirement.
  • Assembles and is responsible for weekly completion and distribution of accurate and comprehensive status reports to clients
  • Sets up all meetings based on the schedules (internals and kick offs)
  • Attends meetings relevant to current projects.  If necessary take notes, and provide written call reports pertaining to what was discussed and next steps.  Circulate call reports to appropriate internal team members and clients.
  • Handles administrative tasks as requested including – but not limited to – project creation in the Wunderman online systems, creation and assignment of tasks in multiple online task management systems, maintenance of folders on the shared drive, maintenance of files including production estimates and conference reports so they are current and correct, as well as timelines, calendars, and schedules for their assignments.
  • Maintains relationships and task coordination with partner marketing agencies – including other Wunderman offices, other sister WPP agencies, plus other client-specific marketing agencies that are not part of WPP.
  • Assists Client Services staff in research and preparation of their presentations of quarterly competitive reports to assure that the client and creative partners are kept abreast of marketplace developments
  • Act as resource for current information about the status of all projects in progress and aim to keep supervisor informed of same
  • Assists in reviewing & approving monthly client invoices, plus assembling monthly summary budget reports for review in regular meetings with clients
  • Attends conferences and training as needed
  • Assists the Account Director in all aspects of customer relationship management.


  • BA in Advertising, Marketing or related preferred
  • Direct/CRM and Interactive marketing experience preferred
  • Strong project management skills with great attention to detail
  • High-level customer service skills such as recognizing clients’ needs, responding promptly to requests, professionalism, collaboration, etc.
  • First-rate thinker with excellent communications skills:  writing and presenting
  • Marketing/advertising or agency internship a strong plus
  • Computer literate, web savvy
  • High energy and naturally curious with a passion for driving customer engagement through inspired creative that is data inspired
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Includes ability to learn & navigate through new online tools that are constantly evolving.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multi-task and re-prioritize.
