Overview

Wunderman is seeking an Account Coordinator to support a major client. The Account Coordinator is the entry level position in account management and acts primarily as an internal liaison, representing their assignments to Agency colleagues.  They provide internal support for the day-to-day administration of the account management function working with the team on a variety of campaigns. This persion typically reports into an Account Supervisor.

 

Below is an example of what you would be responsible for but it isn’t limited to just this!

 

In this instance, pharma and retail experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and support account staff with the internal management of all active jobs including working with Internal Operations/Finance to open jobs and communicate job numbers to all concerned
  • Ensure all Scopes of Work/Estimates are saved on the server
  • Write and distribute accurate and comprehensive status reports to clients as well as production schedules when needed
  • Develop and maintain workback schedules for client and agency
  • Set up all meetings based on the schedules (internals and kick offs)
  • Handle administrative tasks as requested, including but not limited to maintenance of folders on the shared drive, maintenance of files including production estimates and conference reports so they are current and correct, as well as timelines, calendars, and schedules for their assignments
  • Assist Account staff in research and preparation of reports
  • Help assure that the client and creative partners are kept abreast of marketplace developments
  • Responsible for monitoring competitive activity and selecting noteworthy news or advertising and circulating it to clients and within the agency
  • Act as resource for current information about the status of all projects in progress and aim to keep supervisor informed of same
  • Working closely with production, assists in the preparation of correct production estimates for client review and approval
  • Assists in assembling monthly budget reports for review in regular meetings with clients
  • Maintain/update Team Contact List
  • Handle messengers/shipping of things to the clients and receive it back from the client
  • Assist with meeting preparation, including presentation set-up, catering etc.

Qualifications

  • BA in Advertising, Marketing or related preferred
  • Marketing/advertising or agency internship a strong plus
  • Strong project management skills with great attention to detail; top notch execution skills
  • First rate thinker with excellent communications skills: writing and presenting
  • Digital literacy with both Office Suite as well as social platforms, digital native
  • Flexible approach to schedule (within reason), with a team work approach regarding understanding tasks and problem solving
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Possesses energy, initiative and drive to succeed in fast paced, dynamic and creative environment
