Overview

Wunderman is seeking an Account Supervisor to support a major client. The Account Supervisor will report to the Account Director and must maintain a wide scope of responsibilities, from strategic to executional. 

 

Given that this role will have significant contact with our clients, vendors and internal delivery team, professionalism is a fundamental requirement.  The Account Supervisor must be able to bring creativity and a proactive approach to problem solving to all responsibilities and be ready to tackle a wide variety of challenges, and support the organization in ways that are frequently changing.  This person’s primary responsibility will be to support the Account Director(s) on larger projects, but on any given day, this could be a wide variety of tasks.  Below is an example of what you would be responsible for but it isn’t limited to just this!

Ideally, qualified candidates must have a minimum 5 years of experience, weighted toward agency-side. In this instance, pharma, retail and automotive experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Run day-to-day business (primary client and partner agency contact); possess and demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the client’s business
  • Familiar with all aspects of digital media: from website builds, to content to social platforms and measurement
  • Be able to write and present an inspiring creative brief
  • Have strong strategic and analytical thinking skills
  • Continually build understanding of digital and social media landscape
  • Seek, nurture, contribute to and help sell big ideas – out of box thinker; be a champion of the work
  • Familiar with strategic/annual client marketing planning
  • Identify business building ideas and make them happen
  • Go beyond project minimums, anticipate and exceed clients’ expectations
  • Have the potential to be a key player in Wunderman/Blast Radius’ future

  • Supervise and coach your team’s Account Managers and Account Coordinators, as well as Interns where relevant.
  • Be prepared for other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • BA in Advertising, Marketing or related preferred
  • Has approximately 5-7 years of advertising/marketing experience with at least 2 years of managerial experience
  • Strong leadership ability
  • Exceptional decision-making ability
  • Entrepreneurial and proactive in nature
  • First rate thinker with excellent communications skills: writing and presenting
  • Strong project management skills with great attention to detail; top notch execution skills
  • Is able to build good rapport and positively influence the team and clients; is well-respected by colleagues and clients
  • Demonstrates strategic expertise
  • Digital literacy with both Office Suite as well as social platforms, digital native
  • Flexible approach to schedule (within reason), with a team work approach regarding undertsanfin tasks and problem solving
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Possesses energy, initiative and drive to succeed in fast paced, dynamic and creative environment
