  • Use customers’ raw data and analytical tools such as SAS, SQL, R, Excel and PowerPoint to help them better understand their customer base
  • Make data-based recommendations to improve customers’ bottom line
  • Develop and build a variety of reports for the client, primarily using SAS, SQL and Excel, but also with other software packages as directed
  • Build, validate and deliver specific analytic models designed to generate true customer insight
  • Experience working with clients and internal account teams on analytical issues, such as predictive modeling, segmentation, experimental design, LTV, and program evaluation
  • Develop and provide written and verbal output on reports and presentations
  • Manage and resolve the key data issues involving quality, consistency of data for analytical purposes
  • Contribute at every step from reading in the data received from the customer, rolling it up, analyzing the results, preparing the PowerPoint deck and presenting it to the customer
  • Deliver meaningful customer insights through preparing and producing analytics reports on a weekly, bi-weekly and monthly basis
  • Identify and develop data collection strategies to support standard and ad hoc reporting on key performance indicators that directly measure online campaigns, website and conversion funnel performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Analytics, Statistics or a related field – Master’s degree a plus
  • 3+ years’ experience with SAS, SQL, or any other analysis or database software
  • 4+ years of database marketing and analytics experience using data management and analytical methods
  • 1+ years developing marketing performance measurement using web based tools such as Adobe Insight, Site Catalyst, and Google Analytics
  • Demonstrated knowledge of multivariate statistical and modeling techniques
  • Experience with dealing directly with clients and presenting results
  • Self-starter requiring minimal supervision
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Must be willing to travel to the client on a regular basis
