Overview

At Wunderman, we use data to create big ideas and clever strategies for our clients-- it’s what sets us apart from other agencies. Our Digital Media Buyers are responsible for the strategic development, execution, optimization and growth of Digital Direct Response campaigns through a variety of advertising channels such as Paid Search, Paid Social, and Display. Each buyer supports 3-5 clients and is responsible for all aspects of paid digital media campaign development. To do this effectively, Digital Media Buyers must keep a strong and current pulse on media trends and tactics to create short and long-term strategies that optimize client’s paid media spend and results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic paid media plans including media spend projections, media mix (Paid Social, Paid Search, Display, Remarketing), and A/B test strategies
  • Recognize and implement ongoing optimizations by monitoring keyword performance, bid strategies, budgets, and response metrics
  • Participate in client meetings, pitches and presentations
  • Approve campaign setup and accuracy of campaign assets before launch
  • Analyze web analytics and statistical reports to track progress and provide insights
  • Ensure campaigns are meeting/exceeding client KPI goals
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of client’s overall business and marketing objectives
  • Act as the subject matter expert in online advertising tactics and platforms: Google AdWords, DoubleClick Campaign Manager, DoubleClick Search, DoubleClick Bid Manager, and Google Analytics experience

Qualifications

 

  • 3 year minimum of digital media experience with at least 1 year of paid media buying
  • Thinks qualitatively & analytically 
  • Has strong presentation skills and is a creative problem-solver
  • Detailed-oriented and organized
  • Agency experience preferred  
  • Travel: 10-15%
