With a growing portfolio of top-tier clients, Wunderman specializes in designing consumer-centric strategies focused on combining creative with data to build valuable relationships between consumers and brands.

We are seeking a dynamic data strategist who will be responsible for reviewing client objectives & inputs to develop short and long-term data marketing strategies and support sourcing of data providers, defining targeting strategies and test design, and forecasting performance based on historical results and industry benchmark.


  • Develop data-informed strategies to target consumers for marketing campaigns.
  • Documents data marketing strategies at campaign and program level, including targeting strategy, test and optimization strategy, forecast of engagement and sales results, calculation of ROI.
  • Use client CRM system to perform counts and estimate targeting volumes per segment.
  • Works cross-functionally within the agency to ensure the successful execution of client and agency strategies.
  • Develops and delivers strategic client and prospect presentations.
  • Reviews reporting/analytic outputs and provides insights and recommendations.
  • Performs secondary research on industry trends, reports, and consumer trends to develop insights on performance and segmentation.
  • Evaluates assigned clients’ marketing strategies on a periodic basis to make recommendations on data sourcing, analytics/modeling and reporting metrics.
  • Support other analytical needs in an ad-hoc environment as well as standard reporting.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the automotive industry and strong ethical standards.


Skill Set/Knowledge:

  • Advanced understanding of data marketing principles for direct mail and digital marketing.
  • Ability to assess and analyze client objectives to produce and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to synthesize information from various sources and extract key messages.
  • Strong oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated client management skills and service orientation.
  • Highly resourceful, with strong research skills and a working knowledge of marketing analytics
  • Proactive and able to work independently
  • Strong deadline orientation and ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a flexible, dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel


Education/Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in data driven marketing, including database marketing and/or digital marketing.
  • Experience with campaign management and reporting tools such as Siebel and/or Selligent.
  • Comfort with SQL, Excel, PowerPivot and Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent relevant experience
