Responsibilities

  • Work with clients and WDM personnel to understand client’s marketing strategy
  • Work directly with client marketing personnel to obtain and understand requirements for marketing campaigns to be executed for direct mail and email marketing channels
  • Manage a Marketing Operations team, assigning resources for client requests and ensuring each deliverable meets high quality standards
  • Understand campaign and reporting best practices, and recommend these practices to clients and WDM personnel when appropriate
  • Helps troubleshoot and resolve problems or issues with campaign deliverables
  • Monitor and report on Service Level Agreements for all campaign operations
  • Adhere and enforce Quality Control standards for all campaign deliverables with the goal to reduce errors for all client campaign deliveries
  • Identify and implement campaign operational efficiencies with the goal to improve client campaign deliveries
  • Maintain internal client campaign processing calendar which includes ensuring all data feeds, environment refreshes, and campaign deliverables are on track to meet the client deadlines
  • Participate in monthly Operational Reviews (internal) reporting on pain points, missed deliveries and process improvements related to the client marketing operations
  • Provide marketing operations status reports to client (written or via conference call as required)
  • Interact seamlessly with the all WDM teams involved with change control projects impacting client campaign deliveries and/or changes to the campaign environment


Qualifications

Minimum Business Skills: 

  • Demonstrates ability to act as a primary interface with client personnel
  • Strong understanding of marketing concepts
  • Ability to effectively lead a team of two or more Marketing Operations Consultants
  • Problem solving skills and ability to work independently with clients
  • Good communication skills, in both verbal and written English, with ability to translate technical concepts to business users
  • Service-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and self-motivate
  • Ability to build and maintain team relationships across geographic areas (client and various WDM offices)
  • Good interpersonal skills 

Minimum Technical Skills: 

  • Previous experience in working in environments that utilize marketing campaign tools such as Adobe, IBM Unica Campaign, Silverpop, Exact Target, Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Knowledge and experience deploying direct mail and email campaigns
  • Familiarity with basic database concepts
  • Familiarity with Structured Query Language (SQL), including experience with join and aggregate data functions
