Overview

Our Strategic Planning & Consulting team brings deep industry experience, rigorous analytical capabilities and actionable business strategies to help solve our clients most complex Sales and Marketing challenges.  The Strategic Planner supports both the Senior Strategic Planner & Director of Consulting Services in all aspects of engagement delivery including: problem definition, data collection and analysis, strategic recommendations and final client delivery.

Responsibilities

The  Strategic Planner will be assigned to consulting engagements by the Senior Strategic Planner or Director of Consulting Services of Consulting Services.

 

In addition, the Strategic Planner:

  • Gets to know our clients (and their brands) intimately;  the markets in which they compete , and their consumers
  • Works with the Project Lead to manage both direct and indirect resources in order to ensure project quality and completion. The resources typically utilized are data, data analytics, account services, digital services, and creative departments
  • Builds a comprehensive understanding and successful application of both primary and secondary research tools
  • Gains expertise in all vendor capabilities and how they are applied to customer products and services
  • Helps coordinate project requirements and client expectations
  • Prepares and presents written status reports for clients (as needed)
  • Researches and anlayzes data to develop intelligent, cohesive strategic plans
  • Presents findings and insights to clients and internal teams
  • Participates on proposal development teams, coordinating efforts and assisting with proposal submission
  • Is expected to travel to client locations up to 30% of the time

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 3 years Healthcare, Consulting or Direct Marketing/Agency experience
  • Expertise with Microsoft office, productivity and analytical software
  • Strong client relationship development skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Strategic thinker, rigorous analytics capabilities and pragmatic problem solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills leveraged via presentations, correspondence and client relationships
  • Excellent project management skills. The ability to manage deadlines and deliverables in a matrixed environment
  • General understanding of healthcare industry, reimbursement, payor, provider and/or managed care is desired
