Overview

 

This is a position within the Marketing Operations business unit of Wunderman Data Management (WDM). The individual works as part of a team of consultants that assist with implementation of new Adobe Campaign solutions that supports clients’ marketing activities.

Responsibilities

The Software Developer is a senior role responsible for guiding and implementing WDM’s client solutions that utilize Adobe Campaign. In this role, the developer performs the following functions:

  • Gains an understanding of the clients business problems and is able to synthesize and articulate technology solutions to optimize marketing processes around those needs
  • Develops, tests, and deploys Adobe Campaign software solutions including Campaigns, ETL processes and workflows, and Web Applications
  • Collaborates with business and project teams to ensure on time delivery of projects
  • Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Adobe Campaign for trouble-shooting, technical direction, and application functionality
  • Recommends performance tuning of campaign segmentation logic and overall system flow to manage large marketing data sources.
  • Assists with campaign flow chart performance optimization
  • Helps lead and drive the development standards and best practices for the Adobe Campaign
  • Has the ability to train an end user/business how to be successful with Adobe Campaign
  • Works with WDM’s internal team to guarantee success for both the client and the team
  • Travels to customer sites as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of marketing concepts, including multi-channel and digital marketing
  • Problem solving skills and ability to work independently with clients
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written English, with ability to translate technical concepts to business users
  • Ability to multi-task and self-motivate, has eagerness to learn new applications of traditional technologies
  • Ability to build and maintain team relationships across geographic areas (client and various Wunderman offices)
  • Good interpersonal skills

Minimum Technical Skills:

  • Experience with multi-channel and digital marketing deployment (email, search, landing pages, SMS, APIs, web personalization and optimization)
  • 3+ years’ experience with Adobe Campaign or similar marketing automation tools
  • Familiarity with HTML
  • Familiarity with XML
  • Familiarity with JavaScript
  • Familiarity with database concepts
  • Familiarity with Structured Query Language (SQL), including experience with join and aggregate data functions
