Reporting:

The position will report to a Principal Consultant, North America.

The position is based in Seattle, USA.

Overview of the Role

Our high calibre consultants deliver profitable outcomes in marketing and IT-oriented environments, working in a collaborative way with major clients to achieve their strategic goals effectively.

You will help businesses understand the impact of digital transformation and advise them in developing new digital marketing operating models and digital capabilities. Your focus will be on delivering business outcomes using your skills in strategy development, business analysis, technical project delivery,business process and organisation design.

Confident at working in a technology-driven environment (but not necessarily from an IT background or an expert in IT), you will bring proven skills and experience at leading and delivering consultancy projects or work streams in the following areas:

  • Change Management: Organisation design, programme communications, business process design, Project / Programme Management, Business Analysis
  • Digital Marketing: Marketing Technologies, Analytics, Attribution, CRM, AdTech, Web / Mobile, Social
  • Digital Transformation: Transformation roadmaps, Enterprise Architecture, DevOps and Agile maturity assessments, Agile at scale methodologies,
  • Technology led Innovation: Innovation (ideation, prototyping and incubation), Accelerated solution selection and delivery (user requirements, concept design and scaled agile)

Responsibilities

  • You’ll be in charge of leading a stream of work and produce high quality deliverables, providing key input to shape the strategic direction and support the design of propositions.
  • You’ll design and lead projects / multiple streams taking ownership for elements of the engagement
  • You’ll have a strong desire to be part of, and contribute to, the growth and success of our marketing operations consulting practice, contributing to our business development, knowledge and overall strategic goals.

Qualifications

You’ll bring experience in transforming marketing through enabling technology and transforming the way clients operate:

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a Business Consultant role
  • Management of client expectations and deliverables, native stakeholder management
  • Confident communicator to the C-Suite
  • Tertiary education in Business or Marketing.
  • Engagement and delivery of $1m+_cosultancy based projects
  • Consulting delivery team management
  • In depth knowledge of marketing technologies, functional capability and business application
  • Worked in at least 2 verticals (e.g. Telecoms / Automotive)
  • Delivered different types of project e.g. strategy, design, implementation, operational, business change
  • Machine learning and AI delivery experience desirable
  • Agile / ‘always on’ marketing project delivery and implementation of agile marketing operation environments desirable

Skills:

  • Core consulting skills (focus interviews, workshop planning and facilitation, process mapping, requirement discovery, point of view, recommendations etc.)
  • Strong business/commercial / marketing acumen.
  • Able to create a business case and explain the business value
  • Able to grow revenue by identifying business opportunities
  • Highly motivated and a proven self-starter
  • High levels of personal accountability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable with deadlines and pressure
  • Ability to translate both marketing strategies and technology implementations into ROI
  • Strong leader and team player
  • Project delivery / implementation - able to prioritise effectively, multi-task and achieve project and program objectives within time and budget
  • Adept at working with multiple brands and consumer segments
  • Business Analysis / Project Management certifications a must
  • Advanced user of the Microsoft suite

You will primarily be responsible for ensuring that programs and projects are scoped accurately, delivered on time, within budget and to quality.  You will support the Client Service team ensuring the smooth delivery of our larger and more complex client projects.  You will work within the Acceleration Delivery Management Framework and will be responsible for co-ordinating both in-market resources and resources from our international offices.
